William Schumacher

William Michael  (Woody) Schumacher 41, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 17th, 2017.  He was born May 4th in Mo. Valley Hospital to William Scott and Phyllis Schumacher. He graduated from Logan/Magnolia High School in 1995. Moved to Florida in 1997 where he worked as a pipe fitter/welder and Forman at B&I Contractors. Michael loved fishing and hunting and being outdoors doing anything he and his friends could come up with. He loved going to Montana every year to snowboard in the Rocky Mountains. He was that one guy who always made you smile and laugh. When he got that look on his face you know something mischievous and fun was going to happen. 

Michael is survived by his son William Trenton Schumacher and mother Lindsey Myers. Mike’s mother & step-father Phyllis & Richard Harper(Montana). Step-mother Charleen Schumacher (Omaha).  Brothers & Sisters; Marika Harper (Montana), Lucas Harper (USMC, Okinawa), Alyssa Schumacher (Nebraska), Onnie Christensen (Florida). Grandfather Alvin McColley (Omaha).

Aunts & Uncles: Steve Schumacher, Sue Schenk, Paulette & Dave Onnen, Carol Gilmore, Trish & Jim Jarzynka, Mary Westman, Rita Egner & Cece & John Zadina.  Proceeded in death by grandparents (William) Bill & Marian Schumacher and (Pauline) Pat McColley.

Services will be held Saturday, March 31st at 11 am at Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan, burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The Celebration of Life is at 4th Ave. Grill (Billy’s) 115 N. Ave. in Logan after the cemetery. The celebration of life will be a potluck with pizza provided. All are welcomed and encouraged to bring a dish and share stories.
