Virginia R. Roberts, age 83, of Logan, Iowa passed away Monday, October 22, 2012 at the Westmont Care Center in Logan, Iowa. Virginia was born July 21, 1929 in the northern part of Missouri to Robert J. and Mary Jane (McIntosh) Baker. Virginia graduated from high school in Milton, Iowa. She was married to Stanley Roberts in 1947 in Chicago, Illinois. They have resided in Logan since 1970. Virginia enjoyed reading. Survivors include her husband Stanley of Logan, Iowa; children: Michaelene Cochran and husband Lonnie of Memphis, Missouri; Marchal Roberts and wife Pat of Kahoka, Missouri; Max Roberts of Logan, Iowa; Marla Chard and husband Larry of Appleton, Wisconsin; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-granchildren; sisters: Mary Louise Price of LeGrand, Iowa; Beverly Grogan of Aurora, Colorado; brother: Ronald Baker of Aurora, Colorado; life-long friend: Jean Davis of Logan, Iowa. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, baby Roberts, son Marty, grandchildren, Jill and Nicole Roberts, brothers and sisters. Visitation with the family will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan, Iowa.
