Phyllis J. Biederman age 92, of Logan, Iowa passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Westmont Care Center in Logan, Iowa. Phyllis was born July 20, 1926 in Onawa, Iowa to Clark and Lillian Rose (Nelson) Christiansen Sr. Phyllis graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was married to Joseph Biederman, December 31, 1945 in Harlan, Iowa. They began farming with Josephs father and did so for six years. In 1951, they moved to a farm south of Harlan, Iowa where they raised crops and cattle. In 1959, they moved to a farm west of Logan, where they continued to farm, raised cattle, hogs and row crops. Phyllis enjoyed baking, sewing and crocheting. Joseph passed away October 11, 2006.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph, sister Betty, brother Clark, great-grandson Jayce Wilson.
Survivors include sons: Roger, Jerry and Jeff all of Logan, Iowa; Jim and wife Debbie of Onawa, Iowa; daughter Paula Wilson of Council Bluffs, Iowa, brothers: Bob Christiansen and wife Edna; Dick Christiansen both of Lebanon, Missouri; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, at Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan, Iowa.

So sorry we can be there to say good-bye. We all have special memories of Aunt Phyllis. I know she is with Grandma and Aunt Bette right now have a fine old time. Love to you all from your Missouri family!
