Paul was larger than life who spoke to everyone and never met a stranger. He had a great sense of humor. In later years, Paul and Phyllis enjoyed traveling the country and Canada enjoying the countryside and national monuments as well as visiting his kids. He also enjoyed cooking and watching the Food Network dreaming up new recipes for Phyllis to cook and looking for new restaurants on his travels. His hobbies were his orchard, gardening, storytelling, and he always had a list of chores for his daughters and son-in-laws. He especially loved taking the grandkids on Gator and Golf cart rides around the farm and showing all visitors the tile barn and his orchard.
