Michael E O’Keefe, age 65 of Ivy Lanes, Mondamin Iowa passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Home in Ivy Lanes. Michael was born February 5, 1949 to Matthew (Pat) and Kathryn (Welchert) O’Keefe in Omaha, Nebraska. He attended Sacred Heart School in Omaha. Michael served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Michael was a truck driver, worked for Union Pacific then OPS as a truck driver. Michael married Linda (Hansen) Mausbach on March 17, 1998 in Omaha, Nebraska. Michael was a member of 3421 VFW of Omaha, Nebraska. A few of his hobbies were fishing, bowling, softball and was a huge Nebraska Football fan. Michael was preceded in death by his first wife Ethel, parents: Matthew (Pat) & Kathryn, and 3 grandchildren. Survivors include his wife: Linda, daughter Jenni Becerra (Rick), son: Tim (Kelly) O’Keefe, Stepchildren: Chris (Paula), Melissa, Brad (Andrea) Mausbach, 16 grandchildren, three brothers, four sisters and other family and close friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 5:00 p.m until 7:00 p.m. at the Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan.
