Visitation will be held 4:00p.m-6:00p.m Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan, Iowa.
Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00p.m Monday, March 24, 2025, at Logan Memorial Chapel.
Burial at Greenwood Cemetery will be a later date.
Matthew “Matt” Ross Roberts, age 29 of Logan, Iowa passed away on March 17, 2025.
Matthew was born October 1, 1995, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was the son of Max Roberts and Melissa Nielsen.
Matthew’s passion was being an over the road truck driver. This was something he knew at an early age and was something he enjoyed doing. He would often take photos of the many beautiful sunrises and sunsets he seen along the way. He made many friends over the years and would visit them if he was in the area.
Matthew had a sense of humor that could make anyone laugh. He was generous and was always willing to help anyone out.
Remaining to cherish Matthew’s memory are his son’s Memphis (7) and Marty (5) Roberts. Parents Max (Cherie) Roberts and Melissa Nielsen. Sister Missy Roberts. Uncle Marchal (Pat) Roberts, Aunts Michaelene Cochran, Marla (Larry) Chard, Uncles Jeff Nielsen and Kayle Nielsen and many cousins and friends.
Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Stanley and Virginia Roberts, Karl Nielsen and Nancy Nielsen. Uncle’s Marty Roberts, Lonnie Cochran and Ken Nielsen.

I’m so very sorry. Matt was my best friend for 7 years, we fell out of touch but I cared for him so much. May he rest in peace and never be forgotten.
Matt was a man that will never have an equal. He will always be remembered and loved by anyone lucky enough to be considered a friend. I’m so sorry.

May God bring you peace and comfort during this incredibly difficult time. He was a special person and we have so many wonderful memories that will live on. Your son, brother, and father was a great man and a great person to be around. I’m so proud to be able to call him a friend. He was like a brother to me growing up.
