Lyle Moss

Lyle Amon Moss, age 69, of Logan, Iowa, passed away on May 5, 2018 at Longview Care Center in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Lyle was born on December 26, 1948 to Lester and Bessie (Pieper) Moss in Logan, Iowa. Lyle graduated from Logan High School in 1967. He was employed for thirty years in the Maintenance Department of JC Penney at the Westroads Mall, after retiring he went to work at Children’s Hospital for several years.. Lyle was a Cub Scout, traveling, avid collector of pencil’s, tractors and semi’s.

Lyle is preceded in death by his parents Lester and Bessie (Pieper) Moss, step brother Donald Fetter, step mother Doris Fetter Moss, parent-in-laws Eugene and Mary Lou Carson Quick.

Survivors include his wife: Sharolyn Moss of Logan, Iowa, son: Scott and wife Sarah of Logan, Iowa, daughter: Teri Dunn and husband Tim of Portsmouth, Iowa, grandchildren: Mya August and Albert Moss, Kenadi and Everett Dunn,: step-brothers: Richard and Tony Fetter of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Gary and Kim Fetter of Columbus, Nebraska, Colleen Fetter of Missouri Valley, Iowa, brother-in-laws: Kim Quick and wife Brenda of Blair, Nebraska, Wayne Quick of Omaha, Nebraska, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan, Iowa.

    So sorry, Sharolyn and your family. I always enjoyed helping Lyle with all his medical care. I didn’t know he was in Longview orI would have stopped in to say “Hi”. ? for you and your family.
