Frank E. Burbridge, age 78, of Logan, Iowa passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Frank was born February 8, 1934 in Logan, Iowa on the family farm to Edwin and Jessie (Lamberson) Burbridge. Frank graduated from the Logan High School. After high school he joined his father in farming and raising cattle. In 2006 he accepted the Century Farm award at the Iowa State Fair. Frank enjoyed farming and working with the livestock. His favorite hobby was horseback riding with his friends. Frank was a member of the Logan United Methodist Church and the Chrysolite #420 Lodge. Frank was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Robert Brust. Survivors include his sisters: Harriett Brust of Logan, Iowa; Carolyn Ronk and husband Larry of Emerson, Iowa; nephews: Douglas Ronk and wife Jill of Kansas City, Missouri; Rodney Ronk of Bellevue, Nebraska; Richard Ronk and wife Dani of Council Bluffs, Iowa; great nieces: Cara, Ashleigh, Molly and Julia Ronk and many cousins and friends. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan, Iowa. Memorials may be given to the United Methodist Church of the Logan Fire and Rescue. The family would like to invite everyone to a time of lunch and fellowship at the Church following the committal service at the cemetery. In Loving Memory Of Frank E.
