Donna J. McIntosh, age 79, of Logan, Iowa, passed away on March 10, 2018 at Westmont Care Center in Logan, Iowa. Donna was born on July 4, 1938 to Harold and Mildred (McMillen) McIntosh in Gillette, Wyoming. When Donna was three years old, she moved to Iowa and attended country school. She graduated from Logan High School in 1957. Donna went to work at First National Bank of Omaha, then Marcs Claire/Hopkins/Routh Law Firm for 20 years. She was a member of Omaha Legal Secretary’s. Donna purchased the Logan flower shop, which later became A-Bow-K Florals in 1984. After retiring, she worked at Logan Country Store for ten years. Donna was a member of Logan United Methodist Church and the Logan Chamber of Commerce.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Mildred (McMillen) McIntosh, grandparents: Paul and Jessie McMillen, Jess and Nellie McIntosh, and sister Dolores Messer.
Survivors include great-niece Shelbie Ehlers (Shane) of Logan, Iowa, nieces: Kellie Messer of Logan, Iowa, Megan Holben of Council Bluffs, Iowa, nephew Matthew Holben of Killarney, Florida, “nephew” Dwight DeBolt of Logan, Iowa, friends: Bill and Juliane Christians of Carson, Iowa, Todd and Kristen Wills of Logan, Iowa, Marlene Lundergard of Logan, Iowa, Bill and Wendy Lakas of Missouri Valley, Iowa, great-great nephews Noah and Kolesyn Ehlers, 12 other great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan, Iowa.
