I attended college at Northwestern with Dan. He was a quiet friend but could also be the life of the party. He was a tough wrestler with a mind of his own. Sending my condolences to Janie, Devon and his extended family and friends. God bless you all as you struggle with this loss. Dan was a great man and a friend to all!

Dan was my Kindergarten PE teacher & a good friend of my dad. Spent a lot of time growing up camping & hanging out with him. Best memory…Dan chewed Red Man chewing tobacco & I asked if I could taste it once when I was in second grade, he obliged & I liked it, for Christmas he gave me a Campbell’s soup can with label removed for my “spitune” & a package of Red Man chew inside; I was still in second grade hahaha!!!! He was a good man & like a second dad growing up. Rest In Peace Dan, love you
