She raised all types of vegetables and canned them and the fruit from the orchards. One of her favorite things was flowers and she certainly had a green thumb, as she had varieties of all types of gorgeous blooms from early spring to late fall. She was also a seamstress and made clothes for her girls and herself. Music was always a part of the Frahm home and Bonnie and Everette attended dances nearly every weekend enjoying the big band and polka music. One of her biggest loves was reading. Throughout her life, Bonnie found time to read and learn all topics—she just loved reading. In her later years, she would read several books a week! Bonnie came to know the Lord as her personal Savior and she spent time reading her Bible growing closer to the Lord and praying for each family member and friends by name every day.
