Beverly R. Kouma

Beverly Ruth Kouma age 88, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Westmont Nursing Care Center in Logan, Iowa. Beverly was born on April 14, 1932 to Roscoe Alfred and Mary (Pryor) Teal in Omaha, Nebraska. Beverly was united in marriage to Leonard Kouma in May of 1951 in Fremont, Nebraska and they had two sons, Johnnie and Lenny Kouma. Beverly was employed by Omaha Public Schools as a cook in the cafeteria since 1994, she retired after 29 years with OPS. Beverly was also a member of the United Methodist Church in Logan, Iowa. Beverly was known to love jigsaw puzzles and watching old movies.

Beverly is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; parents, Roscoe and Mary Teal; and infant daughter, Sherry.

Beverly is survived by her sons, Johnnie L. Kouma and wife Audrey of Blair, Nebraska, Lenny L. Kouma and wife Rhonda of Missouri Valley, Iowa; two grandchildren, six great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service for Beverly will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Harris Grove Cemetery in Logan, Iowa.
